The best week of the year - Euroblues Promotions Ltd’s annual blues guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, mandolin and vocals camp. Guitar teachers this year include Ari Eisinger, John Miller and Dariush Kanani.

I’ll once again be running the Songwriters’ Circle sessions over two evenings - a collaborative gathering of experienced and beginner songwriters, exchanging ideas and sharing songs.

A night of Americana, folk, country and blues with my good friends Route 34, two of whom played on my Long Story Short album. I’ll be playing a 40 minute opening set and may join the band for a couple of songs later in the evening!

This year’s tutor lineup is pretty special - Guy Davis, Rainer Brunn, Tom Feldmann, Sonny Black, Abi Budgen, Michael Roach…..and those are just the country blues guitar teachers! Plus slide guitar, mandolin, harmonica and vocal classes.

I last played here in 2016 (see thumbnail pic!). It’s a charity event where a £6 ticket gives you access to all gardens in the scheme (children under 12 go free), with a music stage where I’ll be playing a 45 minute set from around 1:30pm.

I’ll be playing two sets, providing musical accompaniment to the lunchtime diners as part of this new community venture. My good friend and Associate Producer of my Long Story Short album, Ian Cleverdon, will be running sound and may well join me on a few songs. Free admission.

Michael Messer’s annual weekend devoted to blues and roots guitar and slide guitar. Robbie McIntosh (Paul McCartney Band, Pretenders, John Mayer) will again be the guest tutor.
